ACCOMMODATION
Our Bedrooms
All our rooms have fabulously comfortable beds with super soft pillows and crisp Egyptian cotton sheets. Non allergenic bedding can be provided on request – please give us warning.
Both en-suite rooms have a television with access to the internet. The singles do not. There is WIFI available.
Bathrooms are equipped with bath and shower with drenching shower head. Showers are over the baths in the en-suite bathrooms for Annan and Dryfe. There is also a bathroom with a large walk in shower on the landing.
Scottish fine soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc are provided. Environmentally friendly in reusable pumps. Ample anti bacterial soap and gel are also supplied. Thick fluffy white towels are warm from the heated towel rail and truly luxurious to wrap yourself in.
A tray is laid with a cafetiere and teapot together with biscuits, coffee and an assortment of teas.
Dogs are not allowed upstairs or in bedrooms but may sleep downstairs in a designated area.
Annan
This is our largest room. It is beautifully bright with windows overlooking the south & west gardens. Named after the River Annan, one of Dumfriesshire’s largest rivers which flows past Applegarth.
It has a Super-King size bed (can be converted into two singles).
Annan has an en-suite bathroom with rain shower over the bath (bathroom with a large walk in shower is situated on the landing).
Dryfe
Dryfe is such a pretty room. It overlooks the west side of the house where you can see the Annandale hills in the distance.
Dryfe is a tributary of the River Annan about a mile from Applegarth.
This room has a King size bed.
There is an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower over the bath (bathroom with a large walk in shower is situated on the landing).
Kinnel & Moffat
The Twins are two charming cottage-style single rooms.
They are only let with either Annan or Dryfe and not separately.
Moffat has the advantage of a pull-out second bed which is perfect for two children.
The Twins have a loo and basin next door and their own bathroom with a large walk-in shower a few steps away on the main landing.
