A welcoming home from home in the heart of the beautiful Dumfriesshire countryside
Applegarth House is just a short drive from Lockerbie and the M74. Dinner is offered which is welcomed by our travel weary guests. We have a large garden in which you are welcome to sit and enjoy drinks and dinner if the weather is good. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

We have two double rooms each with their own ensuite bathroom and two single rooms which are ideal for children. Downstairs is the basement and is perfect for dogs and a human playroom too! There is a sofa, TV, Table Tennis and even a running machine.
But with mainly undiscovered countryside we would urge you to stay longer.
Take a drive around the empty lanes or hire our bikes. Hold ups are normally caused by the occasional tractor, cattle or escaping sheep!
We are dog lovers and welcome friendly well behaved dogs as do Millie and Phoebe. Sorry, no dogs in bedrooms.
